the UK Intellectual Property Office is trialling a peer-to-patent service involving a selected number of patents being made available online for public comment, with all comments being considered by a patent Examiner before the patent is granted

Anyone with an interest in the science and technology being protected can view the applications within a three month period and submit comments.  A summary of the comments generated in respect of each patent application will then be provided to the patent Examiner at the UK Intellectual Property Office and all comments will be considered by the Examiner during the patent process.
