Peer to Patent Experiment – find out what your peers are up to!

The UKIPO has recently launched its Peer to Patent review website where it will display recently published patent applications for review by the public.

Anyone with an interest in the science and technology being protected can view the applications within a three month period and submit comments.  A summary of the comments generated in respect of each patent application will then be provided to the patent Examiner at the UK Intellectual Property Office and all comments will be considered by the Examiner during the patent process.

The first set of patent applications which have been uploaded to the Peer to Patent website can be accessed at http://www.peertopatent.org.uk/
